Job summary

Amescorp is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team in Glendenning, NSW. This permanent full-time role focuses on pre-construction contract management, documentation control and coordination with Design, Construction and Administration teams.

The position involves preparing and reviewing residential construction agreements, tracking signatures, managing variations and ensuring documentation completeness before construction proceeds. Salary is AUD 80,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in construction management, architecture, engineering, project management or a related discipline.
  • Experience in contract administration, construction project administration, pre-construction coordination or a comparable construction-industry role.
  • Sound understanding of construction contracts, variations, amendments, scope changes and project documentation.
  • Ability to review architectural and construction documentation and identify matters affecting contractual scope or delivery.
  • Strong organisational, document-control, stakeholder coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge of NSW residential construction processes and HIA/MBA building contracts would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review and administer residential construction agreements and associated contractual documentation.
  • Coordinate contract execution, including document issue, review, signature tracking and maintenance of complete contract records.
  • Prepare, assess and administer contract variations, amendments and changes to project scope, contract value and construction requirements.
  • Review contractual scope against drawings, specifications, consultant documentation and approved project requirements, identifying inconsistencies requiring clarification or amendment.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, amendments, approvals, correspondence and other contractual documentation throughout the pre-construction stage.
  • Monitor contractual prerequisites, outstanding documentation and client obligations required before projects can proceed to construction.
  • Coordinate contractual queries and scope, cost or documentation issues with clients, Construction Management and relevant internal decision-makers.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, certifiers, surveyors, consultants and other stakeholders to resolve matters affecting contractual scope and project delivery.
  • Coordinate supporting regulatory and pre-construction requirements, including relevant CDC/DA and authority documentation, where they affect contract administration or project readiness.
  • Review project files prior to handover to Construction to confirm required contractual documentation, approvals and supporting information are complete.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position based at AMESCORP's office in Glendenning, NSW. The Contract Administrator will work within the Pre-construction function and collaborate closely with Construction, Design and Administration teams.

Salary: AUD 80,000 per annum + superannuation.
