Job summary

CMTP is a proudly Australian, family-owned manufacturing business based in Sydney, NSW. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead local improvement initiatives to make the branch safer, more efficient and more consistent while building capability and delivering operational excellence.

This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys working with frontline teams, removing roadblocks and making practical improvements stick.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, process improvement or manufacturing operations.
• Lean Six Sigma training or similar continuous improvement qualifications will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvements that strengthen safety, quality, productivity and consistency.
• Work with the local production team to understand workflows, equipment, layout and challenges.
• Reduce waste, downtime and rework through practical process improvements.
• Coach teams to identify, trial and sustain better ways of working.

What you'll bring

• At least 2 years' experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, process improvement or manufacturing operations.
• Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement training or qualifications will be highly regarded.
• A genuine interest in growing your career in production or operations leadership.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A practical, approachable and hands-on style, with confidence working alongside frontline teams.
