Job summary

Sourceable Talent is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead a structured lean program across production operations. You will roll out lean/CI methodologies, working with production, engineering and operations leaders to foster a real improvement culture on the shop floor.

You will drive workshops, coaching and cross-functional projects, reporting progress to senior leadership and building lasting capability across a growing operation.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in CI, process improvement, or lean roles.
• Experience implementing lean methodologies in industrial settings.
• Strong PM skills and cross-functional project leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of lean/continuous improvement across the business (kaizens, 5S).
• Partner across departments to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops, training, and coaching to build lean capability.
• Analyze processes to identify root causes of loss and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional improvement projects and track progress against targets.
• Contribute to the integrated management system for safety, quality, and ops goals.
• Report CI progress to senior leadership.
• Mentor teams on lean tools and continuous improvement thinking.

A well-established, family-owned building products manufacturer is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead a structured lean improvement program across its production operations.

About the Role

This is a newly created, standalone Continuous Improvement leadership role, carved out to give the function dedicated focus as the business grows. You'll lead the rollout of a structured lean/continuous improvement methodology, working cross-functionally across the organisation, including production, engineering and operations leaders to build a genuine improvement culture from the shop floor up.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the rollout of a structured lean / continuous improvement methodology (kaizens, 5S) across the business
• Partner across departments to identify and prioritise improvement opportunities
• Lead and facilitate improvement workshops, training and coaching to build lean capability across the workforce
• Analyse business processes to identify root causes of loss and inefficiency, developing and implementing corrective action plans
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional improvement projects, tracking progress against measurable targets
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the integrated management system supporting safety, quality and operational goals
• Report on continuous improvement progress against objectives to senior leadership
• Provide mentorship and coaching on lean tools and continuous improvement thinking across the organisation

What You'll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in business, engineering or a related field
• 3-5+ years' experience in a continuous improvement, process improvement or lean methodology role
• Demonstrated experience implementing lean methodologies in an industrial or production environment
• Project management skills and experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills — comfortable working across departments and all levels of the business
• A hands-on, self-starting approach with a genuine passion for driving measurable improvement
