Job summary

CMTP, a proudly Australian, family-owned manufacturer based in Colac, Victoria, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to partner with frontline teams and the Production Manager. You will champion practical improvements that lift safety, quality and productivity while building capability across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, process improvement or manufacturing operations.
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification is highly regarded.
• Genuine interest in growing your career in production or operations leadership.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Practical, hands-on style with ability to work alongside frontline teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvements that strengthen safety, quality, productivity and consistency.
• Work with the local production team to understand workflows, equipment, layout and challenges.
• Reduce waste, downtime and rework through practical process improvements.
• Coach teams to identify, trial and sustain better ways of working.
• Turn team ideas into practical improvement actions.
