Job summary

Galderma ANZ is seeking a driven Key Account Manager for our Pharmacy business in North Sydney. This permanent, full-time role combines field and home-based work one day per week.

You will build strong customer relationships, plan and execute integrated activations, and drive year-on-year sales growth across channels while collaborating with the National Field Sales Manager and brand team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Proficient in Circana and IQVIA databases.
• At least 3 years Key Account Management experience in FMCG and/or pharmaceutical industries.
• P&L management at customer level.

Responsibilities

• Drive year-on-year sales growth and profitable growth with assigned customers.
• Develop and implement integrated customer activations and trade plans.
• Negotiate and establish account terms; ensure compliance with agreed terms.
• Provide forecasting and investment recommendations during Brand and Account Planning.
• Collaborate with brand team to execute national campaigns at account level.
• Monitor trade spend and ROI; adjust plans as needed.
• Prepare customer reviews and communicate outcomes broadly.
• Maintain inventory awareness and address shortfalls with wholesalers.

About the Job

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Pharmacy team based in North Sydney. This is a permanent, full time position, with one day per week working from home.

In this role you will develop, plan, and implement integrated customer activations to drive year on year sales and profitable growth in current and new business opportunities. Building & maintaining strong business relationships and expanding reach into new channels and customers, as we strive for category leadership both on & off shelf to maximise results.

You will work closely with the Galderma brand and category team and directly with the National Field Sales Manager to provide direction and leadership in implementing key account strategies to drive excellence in account execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Achievement of annual Sales Growth and Trade Promotional Spend for assigned customers.
• Own customer forecasting & propose required investment levels during annual Brand and Account Planning process.
• Negotiate & establish Account Trading Terms and ensure compliance to agreed terms.
• Regularly provide performance updates vs set account KPI's, including scan results, ex-factory tracking & IMS performance
• Manage total trade spend in assigned accounts to targeted investment levels.
• Work with support of business analyst to monitor promotional effectiveness, analyse ROI and adjust plans accordingly throughout year.
• Prepare customer presentations and reviews and communicate review outcomes to the business.
• Monitor assigned wholesaler inventory levels and anticipate & correct shortfalls.
• Work closely with brand team to implement national campaigns at account level.

Ideally you will have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Proficient in the use of Circana and IQVIA databases
• At least 3 years Key Account Management experience in the FMCG & or pharmaceutical industry. Health & Beauty, pharmacy, and grocery channel experience ideal but not mandatory
• Management of P&L at customer level
