Job summary

Queensland Government in Rockhampton is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead civil construction and maintenance projects on a permanent full-time basis. You will supervise delivery, coordinate crews and resources, and ensure outcomes meet client and business objectives.

Working with the Project Manager and stakeholders, you will provide direction, support planning, coach team members, and promote safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in road construction and/or maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to understand project management principles and work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

You will understand project management principles, be confident working with diverse stakeholders and have the ability to support teams to deliver safe and effective project outcomes.You must hold a current Queensland C class driver's licence or equivalent. A Certificate III in Civil Construction applicable to modern transport infrastructure projects, plus core Leadership and Management competencies, is required, or you must be able to acquire these competencies within 36 months. Participation in RoadTek's Civil Trades Development Program is mandatory.
