Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD – Toowoomba QLD is seeking a Construction Worker (Supervisor) to oversee civil construction and maintenance projects in the Downs South West Queensland region. You will lead project teams, coordinate labour, plant and equipment, and ensure quality, safety, and client requirements are met.

You will build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, mentor staff, and promote safety, innovation, and continuous improvement on site.

As a Construction Worker (Supervisor), you will oversee the delivery of civil construction and maintenance projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring quality, safety, program and client requirements are achieved. Mandatory requirements

• Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence.


• Certificate III in Civil Construction (or ability to obtain required competencies within 36 months).


• Ability to travel across the Downs South West region as required.


• Ability to meet pre-employment medical and workplace Drug and Alcohol Policy requirements.

Desirable

• Certificate IV in Civil Supervision (Leadership and Management) or willingness to obtain within 36 months.
