Job summary

RoadTek on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a practical, hands-on team player to support incident response, maintenance and emergency operations along Queensland's transport network.

Based at Corbould Park depot, the role offers a physically active outdoor environment, rostered shifts including on-call, with overtime and allowances and a strong focus on safety and service to the community.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to traffic incidents, crashes and other emergency situations
  • Supporting recovery efforts during severe weather and natural disaster events
  • Making roads safe by removing hazards and repairing damaged assets
  • Undertaking road and roadside maintenance activities across the network
  • Installing and maintaining road safety infrastructure
  • Working as part of a small, highly effective team that helps keep Queensland moving

Job description

This is a unique opportunity to work across the Sunshine Coast road network, helping keep Queensland's roads safe, operational and accessible. As part of our Incident Response team, you'll respond to incidents and emergency events, support disaster recovery activities, and undertake road maintenance works that directly contribute to the safety of road users.Based from our Corbould Park depot, you'll be part of a close-knit team that takes pride in delivering essential services to the community while working in a supportive and safety-focused environment.What You'll Be DoingNo two days are the same.
