Throughout your traineeship, you will be hosted by RoadTek, a leading civil construction organisation that provides transport infrastructure solutions across Queensland as a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR). As a Civil Construction Trainee, you'll be working outdoors in a hands‑on role that may involve hot, dusty, and physically demanding conditions. The position operates on a rotating roster which may include both day and night shifts.
Civil construction is a physically active industry, so applicants must be confident they can meet the physical requirements of the role. An excellent above-award pay rate is on offer, with overtime and penalty rates available where applicable.
Applicants must reside within the Rockhampton, QLD region to be considered for this opportunity.
Prior to commencing employment, successful applicants will be required to complete a pre‑employment medical assessment, including a drug and alcohol screen.
