Job summary

doris Talent is partnering with a growing construction business in Australia to hire a Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll support recruitment end-to-end, collaborating with the Talent team and hiring managers in a supportive culture.

The role offers a mix of coordination and hands-on recruitment, with a focus on process improvement and candidate experience. ASAP start for the right person, potential to go permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, agency or internal.
• Ability to manage recruitment processes independently and with a wider team.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Experience using recruitment systems and LinkedIn Recruiter is advantageous.
• Experience in construction or engineering is highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities across the full lifecycle from workforce planning to onboarding.
• Manage job advertisements, applications and candidate records in the ATS.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews and assist hiring managers with shortlisting.
• Take ownership of end-to-end recruitment processes for agreed roles.
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and build talent pipelines.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and priorities.
• Coordinate internal referrals and maintain positive candidate engagement.
• Support pre-employment checks, onboarding and new starter inductions.
• Help improve recruitment processes, systems and candidate experience.
