Job summary

ABM Homes is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Canberra to oversee planning, coordination, and delivery from inception to completion, working with internal and external stakeholders.

You will lead a high-performing team, ensure safety and quality, and drive project success in a busy ACT/NSW market.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree or equivalent qualification relating to construction management, project management, engineering or architecture.
• Minimum two years of proven experience in a construction project manager role, preferably in residential or commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, budgeting and scheduling.
• A solid understanding of WHS and site compliance requirements.
• Great communication and leadership skills and the ability to build solid working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Managing the project delivery from commencement through to completion;
• Developing and managing strong client relationships;
• Completing projects safely, on time and within budget with proper site inspections;
• Resource allocation and management;
• Identifying project risks and mitigating them with appropriate measures;
• Developing and maintaining budgets and procurement strategies;
• Ensuring projects comply with building legislation, planning and approval requirements, WHS and Australian Standards;

Due to Continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to our Canberra team to oversee the effective planning, coordination, and delivery from commencement through to completion.

About the role

We are looking for a customer and delivery focused Construction Manager, from preconstruction through to delivery. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders while leading a high-performing project team. You will be focused on developing a successful career alongside a passionate team with a good work and life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the project delivery from commencement through to completion;
