Job summary

Duratec is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects in Queensland, overseeing from setup to completion and ensuring HSECQ compliance.

You'll coordinate direct labour and subcontractors, manage costs, report progress, and advise on technical issues while maintaining strong client relationships. A tertiary qualification in Construction Management and proven leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Commercial industry experience is desirable.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Proven ability to influence and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to self-manage workload while ensuring project efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative leadership style.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to influence and drive teams to deliver business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of construction projects from setup through completion.
• Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements.
• Control costs and ensure efficient running of projects.
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors.
• Provide project progress reporting and lead weekly meetings.
• Advise on technical and engineering issues.
• Liaise with client to keep project on program.
• Involvement with tendering/estimation.
• Raise RFIs and track responses.
