Job summary

Duratec is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale construction projects from setup to completion, ensuring HSECQ compliance and tight cost control. You will coordinate direct labour and subcontractors, report project progress, and advise on technical issues to keep programs on track.

You will liaise with clients, manage tendering/estimating input, raise RFIs and drive a collaborative, proactive team culture while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Large-scale construction project experience required.
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Proven ability to influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to self-manage workload while maintaining project efficiency and team environment.
  • Proven problem-solving capability with an approachable leadership style.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise deadlines.
  • Ability to lead teams to deliver business objectives.

THE ROLE
  • Overall management of construction projects from initial setup through to completion
  • Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
  • Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of various projects
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
  • Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
  • Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
  • Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
  • Involvement with tendering/estimation
  • Raise RFI’s and track responses
ABOUT YOU
  • Large-scale construction project experience
  • Commercial industry experienced desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or similar
  • Proven ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to self-manage own workload whilst ensuring a project efficiency and a positive team environment
  • Proven problem-solving capability with an approachable leadership style
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
  • Ability to influence and drive teams to deliver contribution to business objectives
