Job summary

Duratec is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale construction projects from setup to completion, ensuring HSECQ compliance and tight cost control. You will coordinate direct labour and subcontractors, report project progress, and advise on technical issues to keep programs on track.

You will liaise with clients, manage tendering/estimating input, raise RFIs and drive a collaborative, proactive team culture while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Large-scale construction project experience required.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven ability to influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to self-manage workload while maintaining project efficiency and team environment.
• Proven problem-solving capability with an approachable leadership style.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise deadlines.
• Ability to lead teams to deliver business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from initial setup through to completion.
• Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements across projects.
• Maintain effective cost control and efficient project running.
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors to meet timelines.
• Prepare project progress reports and conduct weekly meetings.
• Provide advice on technical and engineering issues to keep programs on track.
