Job summary

Duratec is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of complex construction and remediation projects across Central Queensland. Based in Gladstone, you'll help establish a high-performing local team, contribute to regional culture and support growth of the business.

You will manage budgets, contracts, and stakeholder relationships while upholding safety, quality and efficiency. With tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management, you will mentor project teams

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or relevant trade.
• Experience delivering complex projects end-to-end.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and mentor others.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and successful delivery of construction, remediation and infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost control and commercial performance to maximise profitability and achieve project objectives.
• Administer client contracts, progress claims and variations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and maintaining a strong commercial position.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders to support project success and future opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate project teams, creating a collaborative and high-performing culture while supporting the growth of Duratec's Central Queensland operations.
• Drive safety, quality and operational excellence across all project activities, ensuring compliance with company systems, legislative requirements and HSEQ standards.
