Job summary

Seek is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee multi-site delivery in South East Queensland from our Sunnybank base. You will lead Project Managers and Site Managers, drive programmes, manage budgets and ensure safety and quality across commercial/industrial projects.

You will mentor teams, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and report to the Director on progress, risks and improvements. A strong track record in commercial/industrial construction is essential.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager who takes pride in delivering quality projects, developing capable teams and keeping commitments.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting directly to the Company Director, you will oversee construction delivery across multiple projects, leading and supporting Project Managers and Site Managers to achieve programme, budget, safety and quality objectives.

You will combine oversight with practical construction knowledge, anticipating challenges, making sound decisions and giving your teams the direction and support they need to deliver.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and supporting Project Managers, Site Managers and construction teams.

• Monitoring budgets, forecasts and project performance to protect commercial outcomes.

• Working closely with the Director on project reporting, forward planning and operational improvements.
• Overseeing project handovers, defect resolution and close-out.

• Strong knowledge of construction methodology, programming, cost control and subcontractor management.
• A practical understanding of safety, quality and compliance requirements.
• Clear communication, sound judgement and confidence in managing challenging conversations.
• Relevant construction qualifications or a trade background supported by substantial industry experience.
