Job summary

Highmark Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead commercial construction projects and coordinate across multiple sites. You will own day-to-day management, lead site teams and subcontractors, and drive on-time delivery with a focus on safety, quality and productivity.

Job description

Working closely with company leadership and our established team, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of our commercial construction projects while providing support across broader operational activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Taking ownership of the day-to-day management and successful delivery of commercial construction projects.

Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, trades and suppliers.

Managing construction programs, resource allocation and project milestones.

Maintaining high standards across safety, quality, workmanship and productivity.

Working closely with project management to monitor budgets, project costs, variations and overall performance.

Assisting with the planning, scheduling and coordination of resources across multiple projects.

Supporting procurement, subcontractor engagement and construction methodology.

About you

We're looking for an experienced construction professional who combines strong technical knowledge with a positive attitude and genuine leadership capability.

Ideally, you'll bring:

A strong trade or construction management background, with sound technical knowledge across all stages of construction.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors and deliver projects successfully.

Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Sound commercial awareness, including project budgets, programming, procurement and cost management.

The ability to manage competing priorities and contribute across multiple projects.

Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to take ownership.

A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to support and develop those around you.

Experience in construction operations, multi-project coordination or broader business management would be highly regarded.
