Laing O'Rourke Australia is seeking a Delivery & Logistics Lead to coordinate plant deliveries on a major construction project in NSW. You will own the platform for site deliveries, schedule logistics, and ensure traceability from arrival to installation, working with subcontractors, suppliers and transport providers.

You will manage dockets, inventory, HVNL/CoR compliance, and traffic arrangements, reporting against the program and supporting safe, efficient site operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or tertiary engineering qualification.
• Experience in construction logistics or site-based supply chain roles.
• Working knowledge of HVNL and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
• Experience with delivery management platforms and inventory systems.
• Strong communication with subcontractors, suppliers and engineers.

Responsabilités

• Own and administer the platform as the single source of truth for site deliveries, bookings and logistics scheduling.
• Coordinate just-in-time delivery aligned to the construction program and daily install sequence.
• Liaise daily with subcontractors, suppliers and transport providers to confirm delivery details and requirements.
• Receive, verify and reconcile all delivery dockets against purchase orders.
• Maintain the site inventory management system with proper logging and storage locations.
• Ensure HVNL/CoR compliance and gate checks; lead investigations into incidents and corrective actions.
• Identify damaged or incorrect materials and document QA checks.
• Report material cost and schedule performance against the program.
• Prepare Traffic Guidance Schemes, traffic plans, road permits and approvals.
