Qualifications

• MR Licence required.
• White Card required.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labour.

• Experience in construction or labouring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• General construction labouring and assisting the on-site team.
• Assist carpenters and site teams as required.
• Load and unload materials, tools and equipment.
• Organise and prepare materials for upcoming jobs.
• Drive the MR truck for deliveries and collections.
• Pickup materials from suppliers.
• Move materials and equipment between yard and sites.
• Keep yard and tools clean and well maintained.
• Store tools and equipment properly and perform basic maintenance.
• Identify when tools or materials need attention or repair.
• Support with general maintenance and small jobs.

Key responsibilities

• General construction labouring and assisting the construction team on site.

• Helping carpenters and site teams as required.

• Loading and unloading building materials, tools and equipment.

• Organising and preparing materials for upcoming jobs.

• Driving the company MR truck for deliveries and collections.

• Picking up materials and supplies from suppliers.

• Moving materials, tools and equipment between the yard and sites.

• Keeping the yard, vehicles, tools and equipment clean, organised and well maintained.

• Ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly and ready for use.

• Identifying when tools, equipment or materials need attention, repair or replacement.

• Assisting with general maintenance and odd jobs.

About you

• Current MR Licence — essential.

• Current White Card.

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work and lifting.

• Comfortable working outdoors and getting your hands dirty.

• Highly organised with a genuine eye for detail.

• Takes pride in looking after tools, equipment and materials.

• Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.

• Able to follow instructions and use initiative.

• Works well as part of a small team.

• Previous construction or labouring experience is highly regarded.

• Experience working in a small business environment is an advantage.
