Job summary

Kantershow Civil is seeking motivated Civil Labourers to join our Sydney team on a casual basis, with a pathway to full-time employment. You will work on diverse civil construction projects across Sydney with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, including residential developments.

Ideal candidates have a White Card, a manual driver’s license, and proven civil experience in concrete, formwork, pipelaying, stormwater systems, and road rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• White Card is required.
• Manual driver's licence is preferred.
• Experience across civil concrete, formwork, pipelaying, stormwater and road rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil concrete, formwork, pipelaying, stormwater and road rehabilitation tasks.
• Build and maintain client relationships across multiple sites.
• Read and interpret plans and blueprints to execute works.
• Adhere to safety protocols, site management rules and quality standards.
• Flexibility to work away from home on occasions.
• Operate in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Job description

We are seeking motivated and reliable Civil Labourers to join our growing team on a casual basis, with the potential to transition into full-time employment.

You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of civil construction projects throughout Sydney, including projects with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, as well as residential developments.

For the right candidate, this role can provide a pathway into other positions and career opportunities within the company. As our business continues to grow rapidly, new opportunities are regularly becoming available for individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to learn and progress.

Tasks to

• Civil concrete, formwork, pipelaying, stormwater systems, and road rehabilitation work
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Read and interpret plans
• Work across multiple project sites with flexibility to work away from home at times
• Adhere to construction methods, safety protocols, and site management requirements

About you

• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Driver's License (manual driving capability)
• Proven experience in civil concrete, formwork, pipelaying, stormwater systems, and road rehabilitation
• Strong understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and site management
• Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
• Willingness to expand your knowledge and upskill
• HR or MR Truck License (preferred)
• We able to undertake a drug/alcohol testing prior to starting works
