Job summary

Workforce Extensions is seeking a motivated Civil Construction Labourer to join our client’s team in NSW. The role offers a stable full-time position with a temp-to-perm pathway for the right candidate who shows dedication and safety awareness.

Key duties include general labouring on site, assisting with excavations and concreting, maintaining a clean and safe site, operating a MR vehicle, and helping with traffic control on public road sites. Mon-Fri, 6:45am-3:30pm.

Qualifications

• White Card required.
• MR Driver's Licence preferred or willing to obtain.
• Traffic Control Certification (TC) preferred for QLD/ NSW.
• Civil construction/manual labour experience desired.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork.
• Commitment to WHS policies and procedures.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• General Labouring: assist with site excavations, concreting, and material management.
• Site Maintenance: keep site clean, organized, and safe; waste removal and cleanup.
• Vehicle Operations: safely operate an MR vehicle to transport materials and equipment.
• Traffic Management: assist with traffic control setup, monitoring and management on public road sites.

Employment Type: Full-time (Temp-to-Perm opportunity)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• General Labouring: Assist with site excavations, concreting, and general material management.
• Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including waste removal and site clean-up.
• Vehicle Operations: Safely operate a Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle to transport materials and equipment.
• Traffic Management: Assist with the setup, monitoring, and management of traffic control on public road sites.

Skills & Qualifications

• Essential: Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Desired: Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's License or willing to obtain.
• Desired: Traffic Control (TC) Certification (Valid for QLD/NSW).
• Experience: Previous experience in civil construction or manual labour roles is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
