Damcon Pty Ltd, a growing construction services provider, seeks a detail-oriented finance and coordination star for our Gregory Hills office. This hands-on role combines accounts payable, finance administration and general office support under the guidance of management.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years Accounts Payable and reconciliation experience.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Confident identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Payroll experience advantageous.
• Construction, civil or project-based industry experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Process and code supplier invoices accurately.
• Match invoices against purchase orders and delivery dockets.
• Generate and maintain purchase orders.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare supplier payment runs for management approval.
• Ensure all invoices are allocated to the correct project and cost code.
• Assist with tracking project budgets, committed costs and actual expenditure.
• Identify duplicate invoices, missing credits, pricing discrepancies and unusual costs.
• Assist with month-end accounts processes and reconciliations.
• Process supplier credit applications and maintain supplier records.
• Order & maintain stationery, staff uniforms and general office supplies.
• Provide general administrative support to management and operations.
