Job summary

Shed Bonanza in Melbourne is seeking a Contractor Coordinator to bridge project management, technical support, and compliance across our construction and engineering teams. You will manage schedules and budgets, use Probuild or similar software, review drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to keep projects on time and on budget.

Shed Bonanza, a leader in the Victorian construction and engineering field for over 43 years, is actively looking for a Contractor Coordinator. This critical role melds project management, technical support, and inter-departmental coordination, serving as an essential link between various teams, contractors, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Utilise Probuild or similar project management software to monitor project performance and timelines.

Technical Support:

Assist in the preparation and review of technical drawings and specifications through AutoCAD and Revit.

Vendor & Contractor Liaison:

Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Ensure timely and on-budget completion of projects.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all projects meet regulatory standards and codes.

Coordinate closely with our Building Permits team for compliant and smooth project completion.

Administrative Duties:

General administration including meeting minutes, customer complaints, and inter-departmental communications.

Serve as the primary point of contact among various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Competencies:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in coordination or project management in the construction sector.

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field is required.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Experience in Probuild or similar project management software.

Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
