Job summary

Otis in Sydney is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Billing Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will manage billing across NE, BEX, and Mod projects, ensure accurate invoicing, and support project teams to drive strong financial outcomes.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Sales, and Accounts Receivable, maintain records, and handle bank guarantees. A finance or accounting degree and 3–4 years’ billing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–4 years of billing, accounts receivable experience in a large corporate or project-based environment.
• Understanding of project billing and how revenue transactions impact business performance.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer focus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide billing and administrative support to Construction, Project Management, and operational teams.
• Ensure construction billing is processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Sales to interpret contract requirements and generate invoices.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable to resolve disputes and process adjustments.
• Coordinate bank guarantees and security instruments maintenance and reconciliation.
• Review monthly billing to maximise revenue recognition and minimise slippage.
• Maintain records and reporting across projects.
• Build relationships with Sales, Construction, Project Management, and Finance.
• Support ad hoc billing, reporting, and admin tasks.
