Job summary

Smith & Sons Renovations & Extensions Ballarat is seeking an experienced and organised Administration Assistant to join our busy, close-knit team.

You’ll start November 2026 with 1 training day per week, then cover approximately 6 months of maternity leave from March 2027. After maternity, transition into an ongoing part-time role of about 2-3 days per week, in a supportive, friendly local team.

Qualifications

• Experience in admin for construction projects.
• Knowledge of Xero, Buildxact, Deputy and Notion preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts, invoicing and payroll using Xero.
• Handle construction project admin with Buildxact.
• Manage timesheets and rostering in Deputy.
• Maintain systems and documentation in Notion.
• Coordinate client communications, plans, permits and docs.
