Job summary

Park Fuels is seeking a casual Retail Assistant to join our Illawarra network of stores. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will deliver friendly, frontline service across our forecourt and shop, rotate across locations and uphold Park standards.

Key duties include assisting customers, restocking shelves, handling promotions, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. Barista experience and a positive, customer-focused attitude are preferred traits.

Qualifications

• Barista experience is highly desirable.
• Face-to-face customer service experience in retail or hospitality.
• Willingness to work across multiple Illawarra sites including Nowra and Robertson.
• Must be available to work Mondays and Tuesdays.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Store Manager & supported by an accessible leadership and head office team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of a highly successful store.

Your key duties will include:

Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all customers

Ensure the store and forecourt is maintained to a professional standard

Keep up to date with promotions and products in the store

Maintain a safe working environment

Upsell products as part of the customer experience

Receiving deliveries and restocking shelves

What we’re looking for

Barista experience is highly desirable

Experience in face-to-face customer service, such as retail or hospitality

Availability to work a casual roster across multiple sites in the Illawarra area including Nowra and Robertson is a must

MUST be available to work Monday and Tuesday's

A positive attitude with a strong customer focus

Ability to model the company values in your everyday role

What shifts are on offer?

We currently have a number of casual vacancies available! As a casual, you have the opportunity to work across 10 stores in locations throughout the Illawarra & South Coast. Shifts vary between 4.15am - 10.15pm depending on the site.
