Job summary

RC Construction is seeking experienced Concrete Finishers for Darwin, NT, to support major FRP-related works on defence and marine projects. The role is a permanent full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays, 10-hour days on site.

Responsibilities include finishing, curing, sealing, and repairing concrete, reading plans, and collaborating with site teams to meet milestones while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a concrete finisher.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Carry out concrete finishing activities to achieve the required surface finish and quality standards
• Screed, edge, trowel and finish concrete surfaces in accordance with project specifications
• Apply curing, sealing and concrete protection methods as required
• Repair and rectify concrete defects to maintain quality outcomes
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications accurately
• Assist with reinforcing steel installation and concrete placement activities as required across the FRP cycle
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers and project teams to achieve project milestones
• Operate hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely and effectively
• Adhere to all safety, environmental and quality requirements on Defence and Marine construction projects

THE ROLE

Join our Northern Territory project teams delivering major infrastructure projects across Darwin. We are seeking experienced Concrete Finishers with proven skills in finishing, curing and repairing concrete to support the successful delivery of FRP works.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ABOUT YOU
