Job summary

DDR Australia is seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters for Darwin-based projects in the Northern Territory. You will deliver Form, Reo & Pour (FRP) works, reading drawings, installing formwork, and supporting concrete placement while maintaining safety and productivity on site.

Successful candidates will meet a valid driver’s license, Construction White Card, and demonstrate knowledge of Meva, PERI and RMD formwork systems, with EWPs and heights work experience.

Qualifications

• Competent in EWPs and working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, align and dismantle formwork systems per drawings and specs.

• Assist with reinforcing steel installation and concrete placement across FRP cycle.
• Ensure formwork is erected safely, efficiently and to quality standards.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers and teams to hit milestones.
• Operate hand and power tools and construction equipment safely.

THE ROLE

Join our Northern Territory project teams delivering major infrastructure projects across Darwin. We are seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to support the successful delivery of Form, Reo & Pour (FRP) works.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, align and dismantle formwork systems in accordance with project drawings and specifications
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications accurately
• Assist with reinforcing steel installation and concrete placement activities as required across the FRP cycle
• Ensure formwork is erected safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers and project teams to achieve project milestones
• Operate hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely and effectively
• Adhere to all safety, environmental and quality requirements on Defence and Marine construction projects

About You

• Valid drivers licence
• Construction white card
• Sound understanding of formwork systems including Meva, PERI and RMD
• Competent in operating EWPs and working safely at heights
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
