Job summary

Concrete and Civil Solutions in Moorebank, NSW is seeking an Experienced Civil Concreter with FRP formwork expertise. The role involves independent and team-based concreting, formwork, reinforcement and finishing of civil structures, reading drawings, and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will contribute to quality outcomes on Stormwater pits, kerbs, footpaths, and other infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil concreting and FRP works.
• Competent in formwork, steel fixing, concrete placement and finishing.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Ability to work accurately to levels, grades and specifications.
• Experience constructing pits, kerbs, paths and other civil concrete structures.
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
• Understand safe work practices on civil construction sites.
• Holds a White Card and current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Construct cast-in-situ stormwater pits, drainage structures and lintels.
• Perform formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement (FRP).
• Carry out kerb and gutter construction.
• Pour and finish concrete for footpaths, shared paths and pram ramps.
• Cast headwalls, footings and other civil structures.
• Set out, boxing, pouring, screeding and finishing concrete.
• Read and work from construction drawings and specifications.
• Participate in general civil construction activities as required.

Experienced Civil Concreter / FRP Formworker

Concrete and Civil Solutions is seeking an experienced Civil Concreter with a strong background in formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement (FRP) to join our team.

We undertake a range of civil construction and infrastructure works and are looking for someone who is confident working independently and as part of a crew to deliver quality concrete structures and finishes.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of civil concreting and FRP works, including:

• Construction of cast-in-situ stormwater pits, drainage structures and lintels
• Formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement (FRP)
• Kerb and gutter construction
• Concrete footpaths, shared paths and pram ramps
• Concrete headwalls, footings and other civil structures
• Setting out, boxing, pouring, screeding and finishing concrete
• Reading and working from construction drawings and specifications
• General civil construction activities as required

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience in civil concreting and FRP works
• Is competent in formwork, steel fixing, concrete placement and finishing
• Can read and interpret construction drawings
• Can work accurately to levels, grades and specifications
• Has experience constructing pits, kerbs, paths and other civil concrete structures
• Takes pride in workmanship and attention to detail
• Can work productively with minimal supervisionUnderstands safe work practices on civil construction sites
• Holds a White Card and current driver's licence

Experience on road infrastructure, drainage, utility or other civil construction projects will be highly regarded.
