Job summary

DDR Australia is seeking a Formwork Carpenter to join our civil construction team in Darwin. Bring proven formwork capability, strong safety standards, and teamwork to deliver major infrastructure projects with accuracy and reliability.

Responsibilities include reading plans, setting out and assembling formwork systems, and coordinating with site teammates to maintain quality and safety on site. The role requires a White Card, current driver’s licence, and the ability to operate EWPs and work at

Qualifications

• Minimum civil construction experience with proven formwork capability.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Apply formwork skills on major civil infrastructure projects.
• Set out, install, align and dismantle formwork systems to specification.
• Work in small teams with strong safety practices.

THE ROLE

Join our team as a Formwork Carpenter, bringing your civil construction experience, proven formwork capability, strong safety and teamwork standards to help deliver major infrastructure projects with accuracy, reliability, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Bring proven civil construction experience and a strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Apply demonstrated formwork skills on major civil infrastructure projects.
• Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints with accuracy.
• Set out, install, align and dismantle formwork systems efficiently and to specification.
• Communicate effectively and contribute positively within small teams.
• Work self-motivated, safely, and reliably in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Concrete Finishing

About You

• Hold a valid White Card and current driver’s licence.
• Sound understanding of formwork systems including Meva, PERI and RMD
• Able to operate EWPs and work safely at heights
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Actively promotes and contributes to a safe working environment
