Job summary

Peppers Waymouth in Adelaide’s CBD is seeking a Guest Service Agent / Concierge to warmly welcome guests and tailor local insights for a memorable stay.

You will manage check-in and check-out, assist with transport, luggage handling, parking and valet services, and promote hotel amenities with in-depth product knowledge.

A flexible rotating schedule including nights, weekends and public holidays is required; prior front desk experience is preferred and a valid driver’s licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is a valuable asset.
• Innovative approach to delivering above-and-beyond customer service.
• Able to collaborate in teams and work independently.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Open (manual) driver’s licence is advantageous.
• Flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Roll out the red carpet of hospitality, ensuring every guest feels like a VIP from check-in to check-out.
• Assist guests with transport and travel arrangements, luggage delivery, storage, parking and valet services.
• Confidently communicate with guests and colleagues to ensure cohesive collaboration.
• Conquer challenges alongside guests, transforming dilemmas into success stories.
• Promote hotel amenities and services by having a deep understanding of products and offerings.
• Be the local legend, sharing information on neighbourhood hotspots and must-visit gems from your treasure trove of knowledge.
• Display proficiency in accurately handling reservations and managing guest accounts.
