Job summary

ING in Sydney is seeking a Concierge & Facilities Assistant to join our Corporate Real Estate & Facilities team. This is a hands-on role that supports meeting rooms, events, workplace hospitality and day-to-day facilities operations to ensure the Sydney office runs smoothly.

You will coordinate catering and room setups, support visitors and work closely with Executive Assistants, Reception and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences and a great workplace.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in facilities, hospitality or similar is preferred.
  • We are open to candidates from different industries with strong customer service and organisational skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reset meeting rooms, training spaces and event areas to a consistently high standard.
  • Coordinate catering, refreshments and workplace hospitality services for meetings and events.
  • Provide reception and concierge support, including visitor assistance and reception coverage when required.
  • Partner with Executive Assistants, Team Assistants and stakeholders to deliver seamless event and meeting experiences.
  • Respond to workplace and facilities requests, coordinating maintenance and operational support activities.
  • Provide basic AV support and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.

We're looking for a Concierge & Facilities Assistant to join our Corporate Real Estate & Facilities team in Sydney. This is a hands-on role that's perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in creating a great workplace experience.

You'll play an important role supporting meeting rooms, events, workplace hospitality and day-to-day facilities operations. From coordinating catering and room set-ups to supporting visitors and working closely with Executive Assistants, Reception and internal stakeholders, you'll help ensure our Sydney office runs smoothly every day.

This is also a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in workplace services or facilities management, with exposure to a broad range of activities across the Facilities team.

This is a permanent role based at 60 Margaret Street.

What you'll do

What we're looking for
  • Previous experience working as a Facilities Assistant or similar in a corporate environment is highly regarded but not essential. We are open to candidates from different industries including hospitality, who have strong customer service, administration and organisational skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to get involved wherever support is needed.
  • Confidence working with a variety of stakeholders and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to assist with room set-ups, stock replenishment and workplace activities.
  • An interest in building a long-term career in workplace services or facilities management.
