Job summary

AustralianSuper is seeking a regulated obligations specialist to join the Enterprise Compliance team on a 12-month contract. You will triage obligations, assign ownership to domains, and maintain the obligations register within the GRC system, while producing dashboard insights on regulatory changes affecting the Fund.

The role requires RMIA or GIA accreditation (or willingness to obtain), a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce or law, and 2–3 years’ experience in regulatory change or

Qualifications

• Accreditation in RMIA or GIA, or willingness to obtain after joining.
• Ability to translate external regulatory requirements into business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce or law.
• 2–3 years’ experience in obligations or regulatory change.
• Knowledge of the superannuation, fund management and financial services industry desirable.

Responsibilities

• Triaging new or updated obligations from multiple information sources to determine applicability.
• Assign ownership of the obligations to relevant Domains.
• Monitor responses and ensure obligation owners understand requirements.
• Maintain the Obligations Register in the Governance Risk and Compliance system.
• Produce dashboard reporting and insights from regulatory change information sources.
• Assist in managing service providers for obligations content and alerts.
• Develop understanding of AustralianSuper to support Domains in understanding obligations and impact.
• Educate colleagues on why effective compliance management matters across jurisdictions.
• Support a positive risk culture and service-excellence orientation.
