Job summary

HESTA Super Fund in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Compliance Obligations Specialist to own streams of the Obligations Management Uplift project and translate complex superannuation requirements into practical actions across business teams. You will help keep our Obligations Register and HESTAssure up to date, ensuring robust controls and clear accountability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of compliance experience, ideally in superannuation or another APRA regulated setting.
• Experience contributing to a transformation or uplift project with a stream-led approach.
• Hands-on coaching style with business teams to ensure appropriate compliance arrangements.
• Ability to engage with senior leaders up to Head of and General Manager level.
• Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to manage a high volume of complex work.

Responsibilities

• Explain obligation requirements and map processes and controls across teams.
• Support senior leaders to review compliance arrangements and identify gaps.
• Own your streams and drive steps from today to outcome with minimal handholding.
• Track actions through to closure and support reporting to exec and risk forums.
