Sharp and Carter is assisting a well-established community housing organisation in Victoria to recruit a Compliance & Safety Coordinator. This role will oversee property safety, compliance and maintenance activities, ensuring inspections, records and rectification works are completed within required timeframes.

You will coordinate end-to-end safety and compliance programs, manage providers and contractors, and communicate with tenants.

Qualifikationen

• Experience coordinating property compliance, safety checks, and maintenance programs.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act, OHS, and privacy obligations.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and contractors.

About the Role Reporting to the Senior Procurement & Maintenance Manager, the Compliance & Safety Coordinator will coordinate property safety, compliance and maintenance activities across the portfolio, ensuring checks, actions and rectification works are completed within required timeframes.

About You

You will be a highly organised and detail-focused coordinator with experience working across multiple stakeholders, systems and priorities. You will bring:

• Experience coordinating property compliance, safety checks, maintenance programs and contractors, ideally within residential or community housing.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, ideally including the Residential Tenancies Act, OHS and privacy obligations.
• Confidence managing providers and stakeholders, following up actions, identifying risks and resolving issues.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, numeracy and reporting skills. A relevant qualification in property, facilities, building services or community services will be highly regarded.
