Job summary

Fighting Chance group in New South Wales is seeking values-driven Female Support Workers to join our brand new SDA Housing in Beacon Hill. You will provide personalised in-home and community support to two women, helping with daily activities, appointments, and social engagement.

We welcome compassionate, flexible team members. Training provided; First Aid & WWCC required; NSW work rights. A supportive house manager and ongoing professional development accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Experience desirable, however we will train you along the way.
• A passion for moving the dial for individuals with disability.
• A commitment to providing responsive, person-centred, and considerate care.
• A positive and energetic personality.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Flexible and adaptive communication skills, with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personalised support.
• Providing in home support by assisting housemates at mealtimes, with personal care and administering medication.
• Supporting housemates to engage and participate in their community.
• Complete and enter any case notes for housemates you have directly supported into the Client Management System.
