Job summary

Fighting Chance is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our SDA home project Casa Vivus, delivering person-centred care to residents in two houses on-site and in the community. You will enable residents to live independently, with compassionate and values-driven support.

The role requires flexibility across shifts and a commitment to ongoing training, including NDIS-related and housemate-focused programs, within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting individuals with complex cerebral palsy, epilepsy, stoma care, intellectual disabilities and behavioural management.
• Interest in pursuing a long-term career with Fighting Chance/Base Housing.
• Passion for responsive, person-centred, and considerate care.
• Friendly, values-driven professional with positive, empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised support in home and community settings according to residents' needs and interests.
• Assist residents with meals, personal care and medication administration.
• Support residents to engage in community activities and attend medical appointments.
• Enter case notes into the Client Management System.
