Job summary

Fighting Chance in Narraweena near Sydney is seeking a part-time support worker to assist housemates with daily living, personal care, and community activities. You will help prepare meals, monitor wellbeing, and accompany housemates to appointments in a warm, patient-centered home environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in support for complex cerebral palsy, epilepsy, stoma care, intellectual disabilities and behavioral management.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personalised support in the home and out in the community based on the needs and interest of the housemates.
• Assisting housemates to create healthy meals, with personal care and administering medications.
• Support housemates to engage and participate in the community and assist with medical appointments.
• Enter case notes into the Client Management System.
