Job summary

The CareSide is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join our NSW team in Narooma on a part-time basis. You will assist clients with daily activities to help them live safely and independently at home, with about 2 hours per fortnight and flexible weekday timing.

Travel reimbursement and PPE are provided. Responsibilities include personal care, domestic tasks, social support, transport to appointments, and maintaining accurate care records.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• National Police Clearance certificate.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
• Smartphone ownership.
• Organised, punctual, friendly and genuinely caring.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting and medication prompts.
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping.
• Offer social support and respite care.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate care records.
