Job summary

BlueCare in Caloundra is seeking a Personal Carer Domestic to deliver community care services. You will travel to clients’ homes, assist with daily activities, and provide domestic support such as cleaning, cooking and laundry.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, reliability and meeting probity and safety requirements. Salary: $34.50 per hour plus super, with salary packaging, allowances and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work – Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes, supporting daily activities
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
