Job summary

BlueCare is part of UnitingCare Queensland and is seeking a Personal Carer Domestic to support clients living in the community, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.

You will travel to client homes for scheduled visits, assist with daily tasks and domestic duties, and help with shopping and appointments. Prioritise safety and compassionate care in a trusted organisation.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal preparation & laundry and ironing
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
