Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, seeks a Personal Carer Domestic to deliver in-home community care to clients in Lowood and surrounding areas. You will travel between visits, support daily activities, and assist with house chores and transport.

The role requires a valid Australian driver’s licence, a roadworthy vehicle, and comfort using smartphones/tablets; probity checks will be completed as part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – Essential
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work – Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting with clients in their homes
• Provide domestic assistance with house cleaning, meal prep, laundry and ironing
• Transport and assist with shopping and appointments
