Job summary

Right at Home in Australia is seeking caring Personal Care Workers to provide personalised care to clients across Queensland. The role focuses on maintaining dignity, independence and comfort in the client’s home with professional support from experienced nurses and care managers.

Qualifications

• Experience as Personal Care Worker or in community support.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care.
• Driver's license and vehicle.
• National police check.
• First aid & CPR.
• Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care and support based on client needs, preferences and routines.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, showering, grooming and dressing.
• Support mobility, hygiene and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and light household duties.
• Provide transport to appointments, shopping and social outings.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Support clients to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
• Follow care plans, protocols and safety requirements.
