Job summary

Right at Home Central QLD is hiring Personal Care Workers to provide quality, personalised care across Rockhampton. Join a locally owned, growing team that values dignity and wellbeing and offers kilometre reimbursement and ongoing CPD.

Ideal candidates have Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care, a valid driver's license, Police check, First Aid/CPR, Blue Card, and strong communication skills. Immediate start available and 15+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Personal Care Worker.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care.
• Driver's license and vehicle.
• Current Car Insurance and Car Registration.
• National police check.
• First aid & CPR.
• Blue Card.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in personal care tasks.
• Excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care bathing, grooming, showering and dressing.
• Provide personalised care based on each client’s needs and preferences.
• Support daily living activities at home and in the community.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Transport clients to appointments and social outings.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage independence and enhance wellbeing.
