Job summary

Right at Home Central QLD in Hervey Bay / Maryborough is seeking an experienced Personal Care Worker to deliver high-quality in-home support, promoting independence and dignity for clients. You will assist with personal cares, meal prep, mobility, and companionship, with a focus on safety and compassionate, client-centered care.

A Certificate III in Individual Support is preferred, and eligibility for SCHADS entitlements applies.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Personal Care Worker
• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or equivalent)
• Driver's license and vehicle
• National police check
• First aid & CPR
• Blue Card

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares; bathing, grooming, showering, and dressing
• Delivering tailored care that respects each client’s preferences and routine
• Supporting daily living activities at home and in the community, including meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Mobility and hygiene support
• Transport to appointments and social outings
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging independence and enhancing overall wellbeing
• Availability to cover Monday to Friday services, with alternate weekends where required
• Additional hours for the right applicant!
