Job summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate Personal Care Workers to support seniors and adults in Hervey Bay, Maryborough and surrounding areas. You will deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living activities and accompany clients to appointments in a locally owned, nationally supported home care network.

We offer flexible hours (availability Monday to Friday, 10–20 hours per week), competitive hourly pay, and ongoing training through Right About You.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Personal Care Worker.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care.
• Driver's license and vehicle.
• Current Car Insurance and registration.
• National police check.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Blue Card where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care and support based on each client’s needs, preferences and routines.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, showering, grooming and dressing.
• Support clients with mobility, hygiene and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and complete light household duties.
• Provide transport to appointments, shopping and social outings.
• Offer genuine companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage independence and help clients achieve their goals.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with clients and their families.
• Follow established care plans, protocols and safety requirements.
• Provide care that protects clients’ comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
