Job summary

Right at Home (Australia) invites compassionate Personal Care Workers to join our Hervey Bay team. You will deliver person-centred in-home care, supporting clients with daily living, mobility, meals, and social engagement, enabling them to live safely and with dignity in their own homes.

Availability Monday to Friday with 10-15-20 hours per week. Female workers preferred to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Personal Care Worker
• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or an equivalent qualification)
• Driver's license and vehicle
• Current Car Insurance (Full comprehensive) & Car Registration
• National police check
• First aid & CPR
• Blue Card

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care such as bathing, showering, grooming and dressing
• Supporting clients with mobility, hygiene and daily living activities
• Preparing meals and completing light household duties
• Providing transport to appointments, shopping and social outings
• Offering genuine companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging independence and supporting clients to achieve their goals
• Building positive and respectful relationships with clients and their families
• Following established care plans, protocols and safety requirements
• Providing care that always protects our clients’ comfort, dignity and wellbeing
