Job summary

Ochre Medical Centre Creswick & Clunes is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our supportive team. You will be the first point of contact, handle phones, appointments, and patient queries, and support the GP and practice nurse with general reception duties.

This on-site role requires strong customer service, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and comfort with technology.

Qualifications

• Front desk administration duties including answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments.

Responsibilities

• Front desk administration (answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments)
• Liaise with patients and their families, GP's, other health professionals and their staff in a compassionate manner
• Scanning and updating all patient-related correspondence and results
• All general reception, administrative and medical support duties as required
• Provide ongoing support to GP and practice nurse as required
• Be a friendly point of contact between patients and the internal clinical team
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Medical admin/reception experience an advantage but not essential.
• Strong Customer Service Skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Confident in the use of technology
• Show initiative and work productively within a team environment with a good attitude
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties
• Ability to work alone and as part of a close team
• Exceptional time management skills
• Establish and maintain a great rapport with patients and colleagues
