Job summary
Lifestyle Solutions is seeking an empathetic Individual Support Worker to help clients build independence at home and in the community. You will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and support participants with mental health needs in a respectful, patient manner.
Shifts are Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-6pm fortnightly. A NSW Driver’s Licence, full insurance, and current First Aid/ CPR are required, along with relevant Disability or Community Services qualifications
Qualifications
- Must have a NSW Drivers Licence and Full Comprehensive Insurance.
- Personal care is required and you must be confident providing it.
- You will support participants in home and community settings.
- Strong documentation, reporting and communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Offering support in the home and the community.
- Supporting participants with mental health needs.
- Providing personal care including showering, toileting, feeding and dressing.
- Assisting with community participation and recreation programs.
- Following individual support plans.
- Completing clear and factual handover notes and incident reports.
- Using manual handling skills.
