Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking a Home Care Support Worker to help clients stay safe and comfortable at home. You’ll provide personal care, assist with daily activities and support independence under approved care plans.

Ideal candidates have a Certificate in Individual Support or related field, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach. A valid driver’s license and Australian working rights are required; First Aid/CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
• Ability to work independently and use technology to support care plans.
• First Aid and CPR certification are preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks (showering, dressing, grooming).
• Provide respite care to give carers a break.
• Help clients stay active and connected in the community.
• Follow care plans to meet individual needs.
• Work as part of a team to deliver quality support.
